Laxmi Iyer, PhD
Laxmi graduated from University of Mumbai, India (Bachelors in Biotechnology and Biochemistry and Masters in Biochemistry) in 2007 and received her Ph.D in Virology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
She has worked on the process of assembly of respiratory syncytial virus in macrophages and epithelial cells and has several papers to her credit. Sandhya Sriram, PhD

Sandhya graduated from University of Madras, India (B.Sc Microbiology and M.Sc Biotechnology) and received her Ph.D from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has been working on oxidative stress in skin, skeletal, adipose tissue and cardiac muscle from 2007. She is currently working as a Research Fellow in the Fat Metabolism and Stem Cell Group (FMSCG) at Singapore Bioimaging Consortium (SBIC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). She is the Vice President and Publicity Chair for A*PECSS (A*STAR Post Doc and Early Career Scientist Society).
Sandhya is a highly enthusiastic and fun-loving person who absolutely defines the word ‘multi-tasking’! She is an ardent lover of science and balances work and home life very well. (sandhya(at)biotechin(dot)asia)
Prasanna Kumar Juvvuna, PhD
Prasanna graduated in Plant biotechnology from University of Hyderabad, India and received his Ph.D in the field of non-coding RNA biology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He then worked as a Research Fellow at School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Currently, he is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedicine, Gothenburg University, Sweden.
