I graduated from Pondicherry University, India (M.Sc. Life Sciences; M.Phil. Biochemistry) and received my Ph.D (Plant Sciences) from University of Hyderabad, India. I have been working on photosynthesis and productivity in changing climate conditions for more than a decade now. My interest lies not only understanding how plants behave under drastic climate changes but also manipulating micro-algae for producing higher biofuel lipids. Currently working as postdoctoral research associate in department of Biochemistry at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.
