What’s your blood group? – Find out your risk for diabetes

Scientists from France have made a key finding as a part of a large cohort study conducted on over 82,000 women between 1990 and 2008. They have discovered that people with the blood group O have a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes when compared to people with other blood groups. They also observed that people with either A or B blood group are at an increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes during their lifetime. Henceforth, these data could prove important for future epidemiological studies and clinical trials with regards to diabetes.
